~ A Personal Comment
Sometimes it is difficult for Democrats to know who the leader of the Democratic Party is because the press doesn't fully follow Democrats and the press doesn't fully report on Democrats and unless The People do their own homework -- they can't really know who is taking the lead in the Party.
The press didn't fully follow President Obama or fully follow presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and they don't fully follow House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi --
Who I would argue IS the Democratic leader much of the press "searches" for while chit chatting some fantasy Democratic Party wandering in the wilderness -- leaderless -- often with people who are not in the Democratic Party !

If the press had followed Democrats from vision, to platform, to election, to legislative process ~ including GOP Civil War Era nullification of them when it comes into play ~ they would know who the leadership in the Party is and they would fully inform the citizenry per the charge of their 1st Amendment privilege!
But they didn't and they don't.
The Democratic Party is leaderful but I am of the mind Pelosi is the leader of my Party because she is American to her core (from which all else Democratic flows in my humble opinion), and she has and does serve in key, top positions in Congress, and she manages a large contingent of Democrats in the House, and she articulates Democratic proposals and policies in the personal terms they are ultimately transformed into when they are handed off from Capitol Hill to The People and she delivers -- when Democrats give her the majority needed to deliver.
For the purpose of my brief personal comment, I won't go on about this exceptional leader in our midst because she can be Googled and anyone can get as much information about her as they'd like to have but I will leave you with links to three brief video clips, excerpted from her June 9th briefing, that I believe give key snapshots into her leadership style, a link to the full video of the briefing and a link to her official website.
