“Magically Make All Hillary Bashers Disappear

They’re everywhere. In the media. Online. In politics. At your workplace. Even in your family. Hillary bashers have been part of our political landscape for three decades. You’re probably familiar with their wide-eyed accusations, their seething anger, their abiding conviction that she’s a blood-sucking monster out to destroy the world. Well, you can change your mindset to make them disappear.

I’m not being facetious with this title. My intention is to provide a method for anyone who supports Hillary to bypass lies, distortions, mischaracterizations and character assaults and to focus on what really matters. ..."

“Playing False Equivalence Between Hillary and Donald Is Actively Campaigning for Him

The false equivalence between Donald and Hillary is one of the most nefarious media deceptions we’ve ever seen. Don’t fall for it. Donald is disliked because he lies to people, Hillary because she is lied about.

In recent weeks, we’ve seen a systematic effort by the national media to normalize Donald and equate him with Hillary. Bernie Sanders and some on the left are aiding and abetting them.

But there is NOTHING, absolutely nothing in common between Hillary and Donald. She is light to his darkness, stability to his chaos, discipline to his recklessness, compassion to his bigotry, intelligence to his ignorance.

David Roberts at Vox writes:

She understands how policy and government work. She’s not openly racist; she hasn’t encouraged street violence. There’s no risk that she would disrupt the international order or cause an economic crisis out of pique.

And he rightfully concludes:

There will be a tidal pull to normalize this election, to make it Coca-Cola versus Pepsi instead of Coca-Cola versus sewer water.

“Why Hillary Clinton gave clean cookstoves to millions of women around the world

An initiative she helped found as secretary of state promoted this simple solution to a big health problem.

While visiting a hospital in Camden, New Jersey, Hillary Clinton stopped to chat with a group of nurses—and got an unexpected compliment.

The nurse thanked Hillary for working as secretary of state to eliminate one of the biggest killers in world—respiratory illness, which disproportionately impacts women and girls. … “

“The Washington Post

Opinion (May 20, 2016)

By Hillary Clinton: Child care now costs more than rent. Here’s how to fix this crisis

Jennifer lives in Loudoun County. She has three young boys. She pays $2,500 every month for child care. That’s more than her mortgage.

This month in Northern Virginia, I met several moms and dads who told me similar stories.

In every state in the country, child care for two kids now costs more than the average rent. You read that right — child care costs more than housing. And in many states, it’s even more expensive than college tuition.

For parents who need to work, this is more than an inconvenience.

 It’s a crisis. … “
